This is another TV doodle, this time one that I liked enough (and had the time) to ink. I hate the couch because I started with some light crosshatching and then realised it'd go better with heavy crosshatching and argh. I don't like crosshatching, but it's the only kind of (non-digital) shading I can manage without looking like total arse.
I'm quite happy with her face and hair, though. And the texture on her torso skin.
^_^ I like! *sigh* Totally jealous of your handle on spot blacks. And really, your cross hatching looks okay...the only place where it isn't really working is in the lower right-hand corner. It doesn't describe the form enough.

Just because I draw comics doesn't make me two dimensional.
Yeah, that part's me being LAZY and going, "GAAAH I WANT THIS TO BE DOOOOONE!"
I'm not sure I have a handle on spot blacks so much as I try to do proper shading and then it doesn't look right so I say, "Fuck it!" and everything that's not in direct light turns black. XD It turns out OK in the end, so that's all that matters, right?
cross hatching can get out of hand if it isn't kept regular, what I find disturbing is the skin texture, personally I think she would have looked better without it like your other figure drawings in this genre. Personally I find below knee amps rather untidy an above knee amp is aesthetically so much more attractive.
